PURPOSE:To constantly obtain excellent starting property even in regions such as highland and the like having diffeent atmospheric pressures from each other by measuring the atmospheric pressure prior to the starting of an engine and supplying the fuel in a quantity corrected in accordance with the measured value of the atmospheric pressure to perform the starting of the operation of the engine. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 2 is turned ON to cause a current to flow to an EGI relay 3, and the switch is closed, the operation of a control unit 5 is started. Further, simultaneously, the current flow to a starter timer 9 is started, and during the setting time, the output signal from a suction pressure senser 8 is written in a unit 5 and compared with the reference atmospheric pressure and the corrected value of the fuel injection quantity is calculated. After the lapse of the setting time of the timer 9, when the switch 2 is set at a ''START'' position, the working output is supplied to a starter 4 through an ''AND'' circuit 10, and cranking of the engine is performed. Simultaneously with this, the fuel in a quantity corrected by the unit 5 is injected from the injector 6, and the engine is started. |
