Steerable non-driven axle for vehicles with axle legs (4) which bear wheels (3) and are connected to one another by means of a track rod (6.1; 6.2) and can be pivoted about at least approximately vertical axles, in which non-driven axle a steering arm (7) which is mounted with its one end on the axle (1.1) and coupled by its other end to the track rod (6; 6.1; 6.2) and can be pivoted automatically about an at least approximately vertical axis which extends through its axle-side bearing (8) when transversal movements occur between the superstructure of the vehicle and the wheels (3), in order to reverse the self steering when the direction of movement of the vehicle is reversed, it being possible to tilt the steering arm (7), about an at least approximately horizontal axis which extends through its axle-side bearing (8) and at least approximately transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, from a first spatial position into a second spatial position such that the axle legs (4) can be pivoted, with the same transversal movement between the superstructure of the vehicle and wheels, in one direction when the steering arm (7) is located in the first spatial position and in the opposite direction when the steering arm (7) is located in the second spatial position. <IMAGE>
