PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution, by inserting a cleaning member, which is moved orthogonally to the scanning direction while being brought into contact with the scan face of an electrostatic recording head, into a gap between the scan face of the recording head and the surface of a photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning mechanism is provided at the back of a drum 1, and the rotation angle of a slide lever 14 is transferred to a deeper slide lever 14' through a rod. A cleaning thread 20 is strained from a pin 18, which is planted on a link 16', through a groove provided under cleaning thread guide tables 21' and 21 by a slip ring 19. Since cleaning thread guide tables 21' and 21 are brought into contact with the drum 1, guide tables 21 and 21' are turned in accordance with the rotation of the drum 1. The cleaning thread 20 passes through a gap between a scan face 4a of an optical fiber tube OFT 4 and a photosensitive layer 2 of the drum 1 to sweep a stuck toner off the scan face 4a of the OFT 4. Thus, the cleaning state is held in a simple constitution. |
