A radiator dowel consists of an expanding sleeve (1), an expanding device and a holding part (4) arranged in a radially fixed but rotatable manner on the holding end (14) of the expanding sleeve (1) and having a radially outwardly open groove for receiving an upper holding web (26) of a radiator (25), the groove base being bounded by a web formed eccentrically on the holding part (4) with respect to the median longitudinal axis (8) of the expanding sleeve (1). To permit, with such a radiator dowel, very simple and aesthetically pleasing mounting of radiators in their upper region, a radiator holder (28) which can be engaged radially onto the web and, in the engaged state, is rotatable relative to the holding part (4) and which has a holding groove (32) for receiving an upper holding web (26) of the radiator (25) is provided. <IMAGE>
