PURPOSE:To crush cans easily and to classify them into aluminium cans and steel cans automatically by providing an empty can supporting bar in the back pressure board side of a crushing machine to support empty cans between it and pressing board and classifying by providing a magnet in the pressing board side. CONSTITUTION:An empty can K thrown into the crushing machine is held by an empty can support 17 of a pressing device 3 and positioned between a pressing board 14 and a back pressure board 11. When working oil is sent to a hydraulic cylinder 12, a movable frame F3 moves forward and the empty can F is pressed and crushed by the back pressure board 11 and pressing board 14. When pressure is released, the pressing board 14 retreats and the can made flat if freed and falls down. At this time, a magnet 20 is provided in the pressing board 14 to attract the crushed steel can. The attracted can is separated by a kick out pin 21 provided in the movable frame F3. Separated aluminium cans and steel cans are stored separately by classifying chutes 5, 6. |
