PURPOSE:To achieve generation of one or more tables of confuguration up to three dimensions from a data card(a plurality of cards/one set) having a plurality of table elements. CONSTITUTION:A table generating processing 8 reads in cards of ''control definition'', ''dimension configuration definition'', and ''table definition'' as control cards from a control card group 1 with a card reader 3. The designation of a column location of data cards, number of columns, number of cards per one set of data cards and types of data conversion can be made to these cards. Relating to generated tables, number of generated tables, name, number of dimensions, configuration by number of dimensions, and data storage location are designated. The content of a control card definning the content of the said card is stored in a processing definning table 10, and processing is made based on the content at the conversion and generation after a data card read-in. One or more tables designated with the control card can be generated from this table processing and the content after the table generation is outputted and recorded on a printer. |
