In a microwave mixer with case (1) and substrate (6), the electrical contacting and fixing of the substrate in the case is done jointly by interposing at least one elastic interlayer (8) between case parts (1) and substrate, conductor tracks (10) being provided on the interlayer for contacting purposes. Due to this interlayer, which is otherwise nonconducting, mechanical tolerances can be compensated for, the risk of breaking the substrate is reduced and assembly is simplified. <IMAGE>
