A bath container which is open at the top and has a prismatic or oval cross-section and an installed seat has on its broad side an outer extension in which the entire water inlet system with electrical control devices, a level control device for controlling the filling level in the container, a coin-operated control device for actuating the water inlet and a fan - concealed from the outside - are arranged, which fan is connected to an air inlet pipe leading into the interior of the container to achieve a massaging effect. The extension contains an integrated corner staircase for access to the container. The actuating members are located on the upper wall of the extension and are accessible to the person sitting in the container.
