PURPOSE:To use just a single digital filter, by giving an A/D conversion to the dot sequential color signal in the form of a time series delivered from an image pickup element and then supplying the signal to a digital LPF in the form of the time series as it is. CONSTITUTION:The dot sequential color signal SI delivered from an image pickup element 1 is processed by a processor 11 and then supplied to an A/D converter 2 to receive an A/D conversion in the form of the time series as it is. The digital dot sequential color signal SD delivered from the converter 2 is supplied to a digital LPF12 in the form of the time series as it is to be filtered. The outputs of the filter 12, i.e., digital dot sequential color signals GL-BL receive the gamma compensation and are turned into the digital synchronizing signals by the synchronizing devices 17G-17B. The levels of these signals are set by a digital coefficient device. Thus a digital low band luminance signal YL is produced and supplied to synthesizers 23 and 24 to be turned into a color differential signal. This signal is then modulated a prescribed digital modulated color signal by a modulator 6. |
