<p>A locking arrangement for preventing inadvertent unfastening of threaded fasteners (22) from a member (18) comprising a substantially cylindrical ring (12) having a slot (14) for allowing the ring to be compressed to fit into a bore (24) in the member (18) that is slightly smaller than the uncompressed ring (12). The locking ring (12) has protrusions (16) received in indentation (26) in the bore (24) with the fastener (22) extending therethrough and preventing disengagement of the ring (12) from the member (18). The locking ring (12) is crimped so as to engage the fastener (22) to prevent inadvertent unfastening of the fastener (22).</p> |
