PURPOSE:To improve operability by simplifying a manufacturing stage by using conductive paint, formed on a piezoelectric plate provided with a resonator electrode pattern, as an auxiliary electrode for polarization, and flushing away the conductive paint with a solvent after polarization. CONSTITUTION:Oscillation electrodes 11 opposed to each other in the center of a thin ceramic plate 1 on both the main surfaces are formed previously by vapor deposition, printing, etc. Covering the electrodes 11, both the entire main surfaces of the ceramic plate 1 are applied with water-soluble conductive paint 13 obtained by mixing carbon black and polyvinyl alcohol. After the paint 13 is dried, the paint 13 is used as a polarizing electrode to apply a DC high voltage, thus performing the polarization of the ceramic plate 1. Then, the paint 13 is washed away to obtain an energy-confined type ceramic resonator. |
