<p>PURPOSE:A cheap and highly safe warmer prepd. by enclosing an iron powder, an oxidatively heat-generating compsn. and a bag of water contg. an oxidation accelerator dissolved therein, in a permeable bag. CONSTITUTION:Water-contg. bag A, an iron powder, an oxidatively heat-generating compsn. and powder B such as a hygroscopic agent, e.g., active carbon are put into bag 1, which is then sealed. The bag 1 is formed by fusing edge 6 of a double-layer member 5 consisting of, e.g., nonwoven fabric 2 and a polymer film having a large number of holes 3. The water-contg. bag A is made by forming a resin film such as PVC into a bag, and a compsn. prepd. by mixing water with a predetermined amt. of an oxidation accelerator such as sodium chloride or cuprous chloride and dissolving the accelerator by heating with agitation, is enclosed in the bag A. The bag A is bursted by an external force on the bag 1, discharging the contained water, and then each component is mixed with each other by shaking, to generate oxidation heat. It is possible to keep a constant warming temp. for a long time, because the water in the bag A is also absorbed by the hygroscopic agent and gradually released after aborbed, allowing the oxidation accelerator to act effectively.</p> |
