Evacuable blood sampling tube closed with a sealing device, packaging therefor, and a method for producing this packaging. An evacuable blood sampling tube (1) closed with a sealing device and intended for use in a blood withdrawal apparatus with a hollow cylindrical holder, which at one end has a double-ended hollow needle and into the other, open end of which the blood sampling tube can be inserted until the one needle end pierces the sealing device, is covered at its open end by a closure (2) which bears on the outside of the sealing device (6) of rubber elastic material; a hot-melting material is arranged between the tube end and the closure (2). For the purposes of particularly simple production and handling of the tube, the closure (2) consists of a flat foil which preferably has a uniform wall thickness and is provided on one side with a continuous heat- sealable layer (3), which layer forms a leakproof connection between the foil and the end face of the tube (1) and insulates the inside of the tube from the foil. A packaging for tubes of this type consists of an envelope (8) of air-tight plastic which receives the tube or tubes (1) and is preferably sealed by means of a weld seam (9), a vacuum being established in this envelope (8). The procedure for producing this packaging involves introducing the tubes under vacuum into the envelope and generating in the envelope a predetermined vacuum, whereupon the envelope is sealed. <IMAGE> |
