The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for assisted positive end-expiratory pressure ventilation (PEEPV) which implements response to small differential pressures in the respiratory system and thus permits an optimum intrinsic breathing rhythm with regard to frequency and breathing time quotient and minute ventilation. The circuit arrangement implements assisted positive end-expiratory pressure ventilation as a necessary transitional stage via intermittent forced ventilation to spontaneous breathing of the patient. This object is achieved, according to the invention, in that the circuit arrangement for assisted PEEPV has a delay circuit which is connected, on the one hand, with the control of the respirator and, has, on the other hand, a connection to a differential pressure transducer and the respiratory system of the patient. |
