PURPOSE:To reduce a volume of rain water flowed into a water-proof pan and simplify an installation work by a method wherein the inclined pieces arranged at side ends of a ridge are placed on one roof base corresponding to the bottom surface of the water-proof pan and on the other roof base oppositely facing to the former with the ridge being placed therebetween. CONSTITUTION:Inclined piece 2 which is inclined downwardly at the side end of the water- proof pan 1 facing to the ridge is placed on a roof base 18 opposite to a roof base on which the water-proof pan 1 is applied, then roof tiles are mounted on the upright guides 3 formed at both side ends of the water-proof pan 1. Further, water discharging pieces 4 formed to be inclined down ward pan a horizontal level at the frontage ends are placed on the roof tiles, and at the same time a solar energy hot water heater 7 is placed on the bottom surface 12 of the water-proof pan 1. That is, since the inclined pieces 2 are installed on one roof base corresponding to the bottom surface of the water-proof pan and the other roof base opposite to the former with the ridge being interfaced therebetween, the rain water on the ridge is received by the inclined pieces 2 and the bottom surface of the water-proof pan cooperatively arranged thereto, resulting in making a positive flashing. Further, the inclined pieces are attached at the place near the ridge, so that a nolume of rain water flowed into the water-proof pan can be decreased and a rain leakage at the roof can be prevented. |
