<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high speed printing and a high printing quality by a method wherein each of heating elements comprising two columns of picture elements is provided respectively by a plurality of heating parts which are connected with intermediate electrodes and those heating parts are driven under control. CONSTITUTION:Heating elements 11 of two columns and seven lines comprising picture elements have two heating parts 11C, 11S, which 11C, 11S are provided almost rectangularlly and connected through intermediate electrodes 12. A common electrodes 13 are connected with the heating parts 11C on one side and on the heating parts 11S on the other side signal electrodes 14 are provided on the same lines of columns A, B. On the common electrodes shifting of column A to column B is conducted by switching elements and columns A and B can be driven selectively. And esch element can be driven under control by signals from the switching elements and signal generating sources.</p> |
