PURPOSE:To obtain a reflector having the durability, the color tone and the reflection factor suited to a rearview mirror and capable of reducing the fatigue of the driver's visual nerve, by forming five layers of TiO2 and SiO2 films alternately on a glass substrate and then coating a black film on these five layers. CONSTITUTION:The TiO2 films 3-3'' of lambda/4 or 3lambda/4 plus SiO2 films 4 and 4' are formed alternately on a glass substrate 6, and a black film 5 is coated on thse films. In such a way, a reflector suited to a rearview mirror of a car. This reflector has the durability, the color tone (yellowish green to yellow) and the reflection factor (38-43%) suited to the rearview mirror and can reduce the fatigue of the driver's visual nerve. |
