PURPOSE:To maintain the long-term stable life of a heat-collecting plate for solar heaters by a method in which a filling liquid prepared by dissolving a resin in an organic solvent is injected into the waterway of a heat-collecting plate for solar heater and then the organic solvent is removed. CONSTITUTION:A 0.5-5wt% diluent liquid is prepared by dissolving a resin, e.g., nitrile rubber or an epoxy resin in an organic solvent. The diluent liquid thus obtained is injected into the waterway of a heat-collecting plate for a solar heater in such a way as to uniformly coat it on the inner surface of the waterway, and then dried after removing excessive portion of the diluent liquid coated. Thus, such defects as cracks, flaws, pinholes, etc., present in the inner wall of the waterway are filled with a resinous substance and repaired, and therefore, the heat-collecting plate having a high durability can be obtained. |
