PURPOSE:To raise the thermal conductivity of a cross-fin coil heat exchanger due to the frontal end effect of slit fin by using a system in which plural slit fins are provided cntinuously and stepwise to form a slit fin group, and a given angle is formed in the rising direction. CONSTITUTION:With respect to the pitch t between fin bases 3 crossing directly to the passing direction of air, becuase small-diameter heat medium pipe 1 is usualy used for the usual small-size air conditioners, the height of the collar 4 of the fin base 3 for passing the heat medium pipe 1 is set up, and the width l in the passing direction of air between the slit fins 5a and 5b should preferably be set to a range of 1-2mm.. Furthermore, the slit fins 5a and 5b in the slit fin group 5 above the second stage are provided almost uniformly to the adjacent fin base 3 in order to lessen the effect of the temperature field between the slit fins as much as possible. |
