<p>PURPOSE:To permit intuitional identification the times of various countries of the world by printing a country or territory which is a reference, and the names of the countries or territories differing from this on a dial in the time scale positions of noon in the respective countries or territories. CONSTITUTION:Time scales 4 from 1 up to 12 are printed on the outside circumferential edge part of a dial 2. Various country names or city names 6- are prined on the inner side of the respctive scales 4. These country names or city names are printed in the positions of the time scale 4 corresponding to the Japan time when said countries or cities are at noon. Round marks belong to the names of the countires or cities where it comes noon in the daytime from 6 o'clock A.M. till 6 o'ckock P.M. in the Japan time. Asterisks belong to the names of the countries or cities where it comes noon in the nighttime from 6 o'clock P.M. till 6 o'clock A.M. in Japan time. The intersecting arrows 8 printed in the positions of the city names 6 of the time scale 4 indicate that it comes noon in Hawaii after San Francisco and that it comes noon in Moscow after Iran.</p> |
