摘要 PURPOSE:To control and process the set height of an inner ring as precisely as possible by measuring and in-process controlling both small end face and large end face when simultaneous grinding of the large end face and the small end face of the inner ring of a double row conical roller bearing is processed. CONSTITUTION:When grinding of a large end face 31c and a small end face 31a of an inner ring 31 of a double row conical roller bearing is simultaneously processed, the small end face 31a, a groove 31b and a large end face 31c are gauged 39-41 respectively. Based on this gauge signal, a discrepant amount of a groove size from a target size is detected, and discrepant amount of a plane difference in bearing assembly which results from this detected amount is computed. At the same time, a plane difference secured by simultaneous grinding of the large end face 31c and the small end face 31a is measured by in-process gauges 39 and 40 for cut depth control of the large end face and the small end face. This resultant value is compared with the aforementioned computed value and feedback and plane difference target size is adjusted. A plane difference of an assembly refers to (l) portion in a diagram.
