<p>METAL STUD A formed sheet metal stud having flanges on one side which are left exposed in a completed wall, with receiving means for retaining the edges of wallboard against the inner side of the flanges, and with inwardly bent tabs which are partially cut from the flanges and bent inwardly to an angle whereby the tabs engage the wallboard surface and tend to prevent removal of the wallboard from the receiving means.</p> |
