PURPOSE:To make the back pressure of an extruder lower than the pressure in time of foam-molding an ionically crosslinked object, make molding energy lower and realize the economical method which makes an injection device unnecessary, by performing foaming of ionically crosslinked resin by one step molding process. CONSTITUTION:A foam object of ionically crosslinked resin is obtained by milling copolymer of which 0.5-25mol% of comonomer containing carboxylic radical or carboxylic acid anhydrate radical is polymerized and metal salt of carbonic acid above the melting point of the copolymer and between ca. 130-290 deg.C and under the pressure higher than ca. 5kg/cm<2>, thus crosslinking all or part of carboxylic radical or carboxylic acid anhydrate radical of the copolymer with metallic ion. Then, the milled product is extrusion-molded at the region of low pressure, carbon dioxide gas expands by release of pressure and the ionically cosslinked copolymer object is foamed. |
