PURPOSE:To enable the application of a displacement detector independently of the form of a torsion bar, by mounting a detection arm on the torsion bar near its vehicle body support portion so that the arm can be swung and by coupling a swing displacement transmission member to the detection arm and the central portion of the torsion bar. CONSTITUTION:When suspension arms 1, 1' are swung, a swing member 10 on the central part of the torsion bar 3a of a stabilizer 3 is also swung in accordance with the mean value of the quantity of the swing of the suspension arms. The swing of the member 10 is transmitted to a detection arm 6 through a transmission member 13 so that a quantity of swing according to the mean value of the quantity of the swing of the suspension arms 1, 1' is caused and then detected by a sensor not shown in the drawing. Since the detection arm 6 is supported near a support member 4, the torsion bar 3a is not deflected by the load on the detection arm. For that reason, accurate detection is enabled without using a special support means and the displacement detector can be applied independently of the form of the torsion bar 3a. |
