Arrangement for limiting the flow quantity of a fluid, which arrangement contains a washer 11 with a central cavity 12, at which are arranged lips 13 designed so that, under influence of the pressure of the fluid, they increase or decrease the opening 15 between the lips 13. The purpose of the present invention is to produce a flow limiter in the form of a throttle washer where the noise problem has been eliminated in a practical respect and which throttle washer is simple to manufacture, not sensitive to thermal expansion caused by temperature variations in the fluid, and which has a long lifetime. These tasks are accomplished in that the lips 13 are ridge-shaped in the direction of the flow of the fluid, the opening 15 between the lips is arranged in and along the vertex of the ridge, the opening 15 at both end walls 16 of the ridge is flanked by slots 17 arranged essentially transverse to the opening, and between the lips 13 is arranged at least one narrow connection piece 18, preferably one at each transition between slot 17 and opening 15. <IMAGE> |
