PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of powdered body and deterioration of the opening and closing function of a valve by a method wherein a spring and a wedge are interposed between a pair of valve body and valve body guide plate, which are divided into two parts, to maintain sealing between the surface of the valve seat and the valve body as well as the guide plate. CONSTITUTION:A sluice valve is constituted of a pair of valve seats 12A, 12B equipped with a flow path 12a arranged in a valve box 11 equipped with a flow path 11a, guide plates 13A, 13B equipped with a flow path 13a and a shutting plate 13b and arranged between valve seats, and a pair of valve bodies 14A, 14B which are fitted to the guide plates. Here, each flow path 11a, 12a, 13a has the same configuration and sectional dimension. The guide plate 13 and the valve body 14 are pushed against the valve seat 12 normally by a spring 16 inserted between them and thus preventing the intrusion of powdered body into the valve seat. On the other hand, inclined surfaces 14a, 14b are formed at the rear surface of the valve body 14 while a wedge 17a opposing to those are equipped on the guide plate 13, and these parts are constituted so as to obtain the sealing effect by a method wherein the valve body 14 is contacted under a pressure against the valve seat surface by the wedge effect when the valve is closed. |
