PURPOSE:To prevent the freezing of sealant as well as the effluence of overcooled sealant to turbine portion by providing a sealant heating chamber to the sealant chamber of a rotor shaft sealing device for LNG cold energy power generating turbine, etc. CONSTITUTION:A temperature detector 22 for a sealant 1a is inserted into a sealant chamber 32, and a heating chamber 41 connected through a heater 25 to a high-pressure and high-temperature system 26 is provided in a seal casing 31. Thus, in case where the sealant 1a is frozen, a turbine is interlocked through a detection signal 23 and the breakage of the shaft sealing device is prevented. Also, since the sealant 1a coming from the seal casing 31 into the turbine 33 is in heated state, the functional damage to the turbine due to overcooling can be prevented. |
