PURPOSE:To reduce a dismagnetic field of a thin film main magnetic pole, and to raise the recording and reproducing sensitivity, by providing a high permeability magnetic material block so as to be magnetically coupled with the end part of the opposite side to the side facing the slide surface to a magnetic medium of the main magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 8 is constituted of a junction body of a nonmagnetic material block 12 consisting of, for instance, Zn ferrite, forstellite, etc., and a magnetic material block 13 consisting of, for instance, Ni-Zn ferrite, Mn-Zn ferrite, etc., which is placed in the rear side of said block 12. The magnetic material block 13 having high magnetic permeability is faced and provided so as to be magnetically coupled with the rear end part of a thin film main magnetic pole 2, that is to say, the end part of the opposite side to an end part 2a of the side facing the slide surface to a magnetic medium, therefore, a diamagnetic field of the thin film main magnetic pole 2 is reduced, and the recording and reproducing sensitivity is raised. |
