PURPOSE:To improve quality and to make possible labor-saving without the necessity of skilled labor by a construction wherein a cathode-ray tube is supplied with a horizontal position detector and a vertical position detector in its neck portion, and a magnet axis direction detector. CONSTITUTION:Vertical and horizontal positions are detected to find the position of the neck portion 2 of a cathode-ray tube and the position of a knob 3a is detected to find the position of a magnet 3. The vertical position detector in the neck portion 2 comprises a probe 4 for detecting the vertical lower end, an origin detection limit switch 6, a threaded pin 7, a nut 8 and the like. The horizonal position detector comprises a portion consisting of a probe 30 for detecting a horizontal circumferential point, a limit switch 31 and the like, and an origin detection limit switch 32. A limit switch 53 in the magnet position detector for detecting the position of the magnet 3 is positioned on the plug 2a side of the neck portion and separated from the detecting position. |
