发明名称 VORTEX FLOW CHAMBER STRUCTURE OF DIESEL ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve igniting performance without lowering power by forming a flat surface on a given part of a spherical surface of a vortex flow chamber and by providing a jet nozzle mounting hole on a given location. CONSTITUTION:A circular flat surface 11, whose diameter is smaller than that of a flat surface 5 but whose center O1 and the center O2 of the flat surface 5 locate on the central axis C of a vortex flow chamber 7, is formed on a part of a spherical surface 6 having nearly face-to-face relation with an opening 4a of a through hole 4 formed on the flat surface 5 to communicate with a cylinder space 3. And, a nozzle mounting hole 10 is formed with a predetermined distance S set in an intake flow direction f rather than in a direction of a contacting part 13 of the spherical surface 6 and the circular flat surface 11. Speed distribution of an intake gas flowed into the vortex flow chamber 7 through the through hole 4 is equalized on the circular flat surface 11, while said intake gas is flowed into the nozzle mounting hole 10, whereby decrease in the flow speed of intake gas can be prevented and the intake gas can be mixed evenly with a fuel.
