PURPOSE:To reduce the production of white smoke, by draining some of lubricating oil to be supplied to an engine, by an oil storage means which is operated in connection with the degree of opening of the throttle valve of the engine at the time of its sharp acceleration. CONSTITUTION:When a throttle grip 36 is sharply turned, a lever 32 is swung through a cable 34 and another lever 30 and a shaft 17 gradually follow the motion of the former lever. A diaphragm 24 is then gradually moved down through a rod 28 to increase the volume of a chamber 25 so that some of lubricating oil being supplied through a branched passage 20a from a passage 20 connected to an oil tank 22 and a strainer 21 is stored in the chamber 25. As a result, the quantity of lubricating oil to be supplied to an intake passage 3 through an oil pump 12 and a discharge port 9 is reduced. The excessive supply of the lubricating oil is thus avoided to prevent white smoke from being produced. |
