PURPOSE:To increase the speed of manufacturing steps of extrusion and coiling by installing a traversing device for wire storing drum coiling in the wire storing drum itself. CONSTITUTION:The wire storing drum is formed to a hollow polygonal shape arranging plural belt conveyors equiangularly in the outer circumference of a pair of frame plates 33, 35 which are placed opposite to each other. The belt conveyor spans a belt 20 betwen timing pulleys 19, 21, and the direction of carrying of the belt coincides with the axial direction of the polygonal column. The conveyor coils the wire 1 which is coiled on the wire storing drum through a pulley 39 regularly by a coiling arm 4. Accordingly, with one rotation of the coiling arm 4, the belt advances by the length of diameter of the wire 1. The amount of advance of the belt 20 can be adjusted by changing a spur gear 11 which is at an intermediate position. |
