摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a titled electrode by which deposited metal reduced of temper-brittleness as far as possible is obtained by coating a Cr-Mo type steel core wire with a coating material contg. respectively specified amts. of carbonate, metallic fluoride, TiO2 or/ and ZrO2, Zr, C, and specifying the content of Si to the specific value or under. CONSTITUTION:A coating material contg. 40-60% carbonate, 20-30% metallic fluoride, 4-7% TiO2 or/and ZrO2, 3-9% Zr and 0.1-0.3% C, as well as <=2.4% Si is coated on a Cr-Mo type steel core wire, whereby the intended coated electrode for low alloy heat resisting steel is obtd. This electrode is contained with Zr and C as a deoxidizing agent in the components of the coating material, whereby the amt. of Si to be transferred into deposited metal is reduced considerably as compared to this kind of conventional low hydrogen type electrodes. Further, the crystal grains of the deposited metal are fined, and the deposited metal of extremely less brittleness is obtained in the long-term use at a high temp such as 300-500 deg.C.
