SOUND-SHIELDING CYLINDER FOR USE IN VENT-PORT

PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembly of the titled cylinder and to obtain a vent-port having an excellent sound-shielding effect by a method wherein the sound- shielding cylinder which has a zigzag passage therein and which is fitted in the vent-port is formed of a cylindrical member and a passage forming member comprized of partition plates and connecting members. CONSTITUTION:The vent port 1 is formed in such a manner that a throughhole 8 is drilled in a wall structure 2 of a house and a gallery 10 having a cylindrical section 9 to be fitted in the throughhole 8 is provided outside the hose. While providing resistors 11 indoors. Furher, the vent port 1 is provided with the zigzag passage (a) and the sound-shielding cylinder A for absorbing noises.
