发明名称 CATALYST COMBUSTION DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the ignition efficiency of the title device and to prevent abnormal combustion by a method wherein a flat plate which is driven by a heat sensitive element is provided in front of a plain catalyst having a projecting section such that the flat plate comes to lie flat so as to become parallel to the flow direction of a gas mixture when the catalyst is ignited while it stands upright on its one side edge lengthwise when the catalyst is burned. CONSTITUTION:The projecting section 1' of the plain catalyst 1 is formed by folding a part of the catalyst upward and an ignition heater 3 is held between both sides of the projecting section 1. At the same time, the flat plate 4 which is held horizontal by means of a spring 6 is provided in front of the projecting section 1 so as to rotate about one side edge thereof and the thermosensitive element 7 linked to the flat plate 4 is provided. Further, a pipe 8 whose outlet is formed slit-like so as to suit with the projecting section 1' of the catalyst 1 is provided in front of the flat plate 4. With the above structure, the gas mixture is concentrated on the projecting section 1' at the time of ignition of the catalyst to thereby improve the ignition efficiency of the device while at the time of combustion of the catalyst, the projecting section 1' is covered by the flat plate 4 through the thermosensitive element 7 based on a set temperature to thereby prevent abnormal combustion of the catalyst.
