PURPOSE:To make it possible with a simple mechanism to control tracking of a light source by sensing with many light receiving elements directly reading light beam and detecting the position of the light source. CONSTITUTION:A light source sensing section is sunk in the supporting body 2 on which light receiving elements are formed in semisphere shape and the light receiving elements 1 are arranged in a semisphere shape with one element at the center and the first round of 4 elements and the second round of 12 elements and so on with increased numbers of elements. The inner wall of the supporting body is a black inner wall, and its depth is from 2 to 7 times the diameter of the light receiving element to form a hood. In this arrangement the quantity of light received by the light receiving elements changes according to the position of the light source and the electric current therein changes. The angle of inclination of a water heater is adjusted, so that it has the best position by amplifying minute input current from a communicating wiring 5 with an amplifier 7 and taking out only the signal that coincides with the light source by means of a solector 8 and moving up and down a hydraulic cylinder 11 by transmitting the opening angle signal to an adjusting valve 10 by means of a position determining device 9. |
