PURPOSE:To measure with high accuracy the distance between a receiving antenna and an object to be measured by detecting a phase difference between two microwaves received by a plural number of receiving antenna and converting it into a distance. CONSTITUTION:A microwave from an oscillator 11 is transmitted to an antenna target 13 by means of a transmission antenna 12 and reflected waves are received respectively by receiving antennas 14 and 15. After the received waves are amplified by amplifiers 16 and 17, they are supplied to a phase comparator 18, where both received waves are compared for their phases to obtain phase difference that contains distance information, and they are supplied to a distance calculation circuit 19. In the circuit 19 a specified distance conversion calculation is performed based on the phase difference information to obtain the distances between the transmitting and receiving antennas 12, 14, and 15 and the antenna target 13. |
