摘要 PURPOSE:To realize the splitting of the luminous flux transmitted through an image forming lens without dependency upon polarization by using elements which have respectively independent optical axes by each photodetector, split said luminous flux at the wave surface and conduct the respective split luminous fluxes to their appertaining photodetectors. CONSTITUTION:The luminous flux 15 coming from an image forming lens is bisected of its wave surface by the pupils of two lenses 11, 12, and the split luminous fluxes are made incident to respective photodetectors 6', 7'. A phase plate 14 is for providing a constant optical path difference between the 1st and 2nd photodetector arrays. The lenses 11, 12 and the plate 14 may be molded of respectively independent blank materials or may be molded in one body together with the two out of the three or the three. Since the luminous flux is split at the wave surface by the pupils of the lenses 11, 12 in this way, the splitting of the luminous flux is realized without polarization dependency and wavelength dependency. Much better results are obtained if a nontransparent barrier wall 16 is provided.
