The invention relates to an arrangement of negative film sections, in particular film sections having laterally attached paper re-ordering strips, on a carrier tape strip for guidance through automatic processors of a commercial photographic laboratory, e.g. printers, which produce prints from the film sections. It is possible only with difficulty to process films having re-ordering strips in automatic machines for films having carrier tapes, since a film section having re-ordering strips has already approximately the width of the guide channel of the automatic machine, with the result that when a carrier tape is additionally added films cannot pass through the automatic processors. In accordance with the invention, the carrier tape strip and negative film section with re-ordering strip are simply bonded to one another and joined to an adhesive tape. A measure essential to the invention is the use of a relatively wide carrier tape strip, with the result that given observance of the prescribed wide dimension for perfect passage through an automatic processor the carrier tape strip and film section overlap to such an extent that a joining re-ordering strip does not run over the re-ordering strip of the film section, but rather over the carrier tape strip so far beyond an edge region of a film section.
