PURPOSE:To improve the follow-up characteristic of a cleaning blade to the surface of a photosensitive drum by providing an oscillation absorber to said blade. CONSTITUTION:When a photosensitive drum 1 rotates quickly in an arrow direction, a cleaning blade 3 is kicked off by the drum 1 and tries to detach from the drum surface, but a dash pot 8 having a small hole 11 for air venting is connected to the tip of a counter weight 6 and therefore large braking force is generated gainst the quick change, thereby preventing the detaching of the blade 3 from the drum surface. For gentle motion and fine oscillations, it responds slowly and therefore the blade 3 follows up the surface of the photosensitive drum well under the steady load of the counter weight 6, thereby performing cleaning. Hence, the occurrence of the chattering phenomenon of the case in which the cleaning blade is used is obviated. |
