PURPOSE:To obtain the titled medium having high sensitivity and preservative stability ad excellent light fastness and capable of giving a clear and high gradient image, without necessity of a light source having high light energy by incorporating a coloring agent and a prescribed sensitive component capable of sensitizing by giving a light energy and an energy capable of converting to heat, to a transferring recording layer. CONSTITUTION:The transferring layer contains the coloring agent and the prescribed sensitive component capable of sensitizing by the light energy and heat or the energy capable of converting to the heat. The sensitive component contains at least a photopolymerization initiator and a monomer having an unsatd. double bond, or its oligomer or its polymer or a mixture thereof. The photopolymerization initiator is composed of at least one kind of the compd. selected from cumalin derivatives and at least one kind of the compd. selected from S-triazines having at least one of trihalomethyl group. A solid image forming material capable of forming the transferring layer is composed of powders (or microcapsules) contg. a binding agent, and is formed to a layer by sticking chemically or physically (for example, electrically) said material on a substrate. |
