PURPOSE:To improve the usability for general purposes of a bar code printer by connecting code pattern memories which memorize code patterns composed of modules and code tables to a printing device of dot print system of which modules, each composing a character, can be changed so that those memories can be freely converted. CONSTITUTION:An input device 10 may be, for instance, a keyboard 11 composed of ten keys or an interface 12 of a weighing labeler and when the operator operates the keyboard 11 or the interface 12, bar code data of necessary data of a commodity are given to a control unit 20. The control unit 20 is composed of a bar code reading unit, a data processing unit and a print command unit and it is arranged so that the data reading unit converts data from the input device 10 into electric signals and sends them to the data processing unit, where the input data are processed by operation and data signals to be sent out therefrom are transferred, together with code pattern signals, to a display device 30 and a printing device 40 by means of the print command unit. |
