PURPOSE:To provide the titled cosmetic having excellent durability of the makeup effect and resistant to the degradation of the makeup, by using a keratin substance decomposition derivative selected from hydrolyzed keratin, oxidation decomposition product of keratin, and a derivative of reductive decomposition product of keratin at the thiol group. CONSTITUTION:The titled cosmetic contains one or more keratin substance decomposition derivatives selected from (A) hydrolyzed keratin substance, (B) oxidative decomposition product of keratin substance, and (C) derivative of a reductive decomposition product of keratin substance at the thiol group. Since the derivative of the decomposed keratin substance has disulfide (-S-S-) bond or sulfide (-S-) bond in the structure, it has high affinity to the cuticle of the skin, and gives a compressed powder cosmetic resistant to the degradation of makeup. The derivative (A) has a molecular weight of 200-5,000 and is obtained by the hydrolysis with an acid, an alkali or an enzyme, and the derivative (C) contains the groups such as -SCH2COOH, -SO3H, etc. |
