PURPOSE:To make production with inexpensive dies possible even with the workpieces having intricate shapes or requiring stages that cannot be effected with progressive feed working by incorporating a progreesive feed working stage and a transfer working stage into one simple die. CONSTITUTION:The workpieces 6 made by subjecting the materials inserted into press dies successively to piercing, nothcing, and cutting in a progressive feed press working stage A and cut pieces are dropped by an inclined type guide rails 7 onto a stock part 10. Next, the workpieces 6 are conveyed from below the clutch type conveying pawls 14 provided to a frame body 12 to a forming stage 17 of transfer by means of the ejecting levers 9 operated by air cylinders 8. Upon completion of this conveyance, the workpieces 15 are fixed at both end parts by side face guide mechanisms 16 and are subjeted to press working. Next, the workpeices 15 are conveyed by ratchet type conveying pawls 14 to the next piercing stage 18, where both end parts are fixed by the mechanisms 16 simultaneously in the same manner as for the forming stage and are subjected to press working. Further, the workpieces 18 after the working are conveyed to a parting stage 20 by the same techniques, where they are subjected to press working, and the parted workpieces 21 are discharged respectively from inclined type chutes 22. |
