PURPOSE:To obtain a binder for the ceramic sheath of a precision mold formed by using a model consisting of urea, etc., by compounding a specific amt. of ethyl silicate, a solvent having compatibility with ethyl silicate, a hydrophilic silicon compd. contg. no amino groups and org. titanate. CONSTITUTION:30-50 Ethyl silicate by wt%, 30-50 an anhydrous solvent having compatibility with ethyl silicate and 5-30 one or two kinds of hydrophilic silicon compd. contg. no amino groups and org. titanate are compounded. Xylol, triol, etc. are used for the anhydrous solvent, a silicon compd. having the constitutional formula of CH3Si(OCH3)3 for the hydrophilic silicon compd. and org. titanate having the constitutional formula of Ti(O-nC4H9)4 for the hydrophilic titanate. |
