PURPOSE:To keep the mixing condition of an emulsion favorable by a method wherein in the titled system adapted to burn the emulsion consisting of a mixture of a fuel oil and water, the emulsion within a mixing tank is circulated from the upper portion to the lower portion of the tank. CONSTITUTION:One end of an oil supply pipe 3 is connected to the upper portion of the mixing tank 2 provided with a mixing mechamism 1, and a valve 4 and a pump 5 are connected to the pipe 3. Further, one end of a circulation pipe 9 attached with a valve 20 is connected to the bottom of the mixing tank 2 while the other end of the pipe is connected to the downstream side of the valve 4 in the pipe 3. IN addition, a water supply pipe 6 attached with an electromagnetic valve 8 and an additive supply pipe 7 attached with a valve 19 are connected to the pipe portion of the pipe 2. In operation, predetermined quantities of water, the fuel oil and the additive are supplied into the tank 2 and after mixing them by the mixing mechanism 1, the emulsion is supplied to a combustion section 1 through a pipe 13 while it is circulated through the pipes 3 and 9 by closing the valves 4, 8 and 19 are by opening the valve 20. |
