PURPOSE:To improve the coloring property, crude preservation and the stability of coloring image by using a specific electron acceptance compound. CONSTITUTION:In a recording material which utilizes coloring due to contact of an electron donative colorless dye with an electron acceptance compound, the electron acceptance compound having a unit represented by the formula I is used, where R1 is alkyl group, aryl group, quaternary chlorine residue or metal atom, R1 is 2-valency group and Ar is aromatic ring. When used for heat sensitive sheet, the electron donative colorless dye and the electron acceptance compound are pulverized and dispersed to particle diameter of 10um of less in a dispersion medium for use. The medium generally uses aqueous soluble polymer solution of approx. 0.25 to 10% of concentration, and dispersed by a ball mill, a sand mill, a lateral sand mill attritor, colloidal mill, etc. The ratio of the colorless dye to the acceptance dye is preferably 1:10 to 1:0.1 by weight. Thus, a recording material in which the coloring property, crude preservation and the stability of coloring image are improved can be obtained. |
