PURPOSE:To obtain a toner free from fogging and scattering and superior in fixability also in the heat roll fixing system and in offset prevention performance by using the toner composed of a vinyl type polymer having hydroxyl groups and an organosilane compound. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic charge image developing toner is composed of the polymer of a vinyl type monomer having at least one hydroxyl group in one molecule and the organosilane compound represented by the general formula: XSiYnZm in which X is a group having a copolymerizable double bond; Y is a hydrolyzable group; Z is an inert monovalent organic group; n is a number of combined Y, and it is 1, 2, or 3, m is a number of combined Z, and n+m=3. This organosilane compound of general formula is obtained by copolymerizing a 0.1-50wt% silane compound and a 99.9-50wt% other vinyl type monomer, and a colorant and/or a magnetic powder is mixed with these mixture and melted and kneaded to prepare the toner. |
