<p>A tent for camping incorporates a self-supporting enclosure assembled from rigid modular wall, floor and ceiling panels and a separate space frame from which fabric tent panels can be suspended. The rigid enclosure may be encompassed by the fabric covers and their supporting frame. Combines solid comforts and protection with a traditional tent appearance. Pref. the modular panels allow various sizes and shapes of enclosure to be constructed. Pref. the panels are made of a light wt. material which is rotproof, provides good thermal insulation and low thermal conductivity and good fire resistance. Claimed are panels made of polystyrene granules bonded with phenolic resin.</p> |
