The invention relates to a mains plug combination having a time switch, isolating transformer, connecting sockets for low-voltage apparatuses, battery charging combination with a changeover switch and indicator lights. The object of the invention is an apparatus which at the same time produces - low-voltage AC for small AC apparatuses, - low-voltage DC for small DC apparatuses and - low-voltage DC charging current for recharging NiCad batteries, and in the case of which - the operating time can be preselected by a time switch which can be bridged for the charging process. According to the invention, this object is achieved by means of an apparatus which has a time switch (3) (via which all the types of power supplied by the apparatus are switched) in a mains plug housing (1) (see drawing) with mains plug pins (2). It is connected upstream of an isolating transformer (4) and a rectifier (charging combination) (5), which produce low-voltage AC and low-voltage DC respectively, which can be extracted via connecting sockets (8, 9). The time switch can be bridged by the time-switch bridging switch (6) for the battery-charging process. The changeover switch (7) distributes the low voltage supplied by the isolating transformer to connecting sockets (8 and 9). Connected upstream of the latter is a rectifier (charging combination 5). Accordingly, the apparatus can be used universally for small low-voltage apparatuses. <IMAGE>
